Our Story
I’m Justin, the founder and hands behind Simply Dyed.
Simply Dyed got its start in Kansas City, Missouri, as a creative outlet and quickly grew into a way to share color, creativity, and one-of-a-kind pieces with others. After relocating to Fort Mohave, Arizona, we’re excited to keep creating and bring Simply Dyed to the Tri-State community.
My wife, Kassi, helps keep things running behind the scenes and adds her own creative touch along the way.
At Simply Dyed, we believe color should feel personal, fun, and completely unique. Every piece is hand ice-dyed one at a time, creating natural patterns and color blends that can never be duplicated exactly.
From Kansas City to the Arizona desert, the heart behind Simply Dyed is still the same — creating something colorful, original, and made with care.

How It's Made
Step 1: Prep & Fold
Each piece is pre-washed and pre-soaked in soda ash to help the dye bond with the fabric. Then it’s folded, scrunched, or shaped by hand to create the foundation for its one-of-a-kind pattern.
Step 2: Add the Ice
The fabric is placed on a rack and covered with ice. This is where the magic starts — as the ice slowly melts, it helps create the organic movement and unexpected patterns ice dye is known for.
Step 3: Sprinkle the Color
Premium fiber-reactive dye powder is carefully added over the ice. As everything melts, the colors travel through the fabric, blend, separate, and create beautiful variations that can never be exactly repeated.
Step 4: Set, Rinse & Reveal
The piece is left to process so the dye can fully bond with the fabric. Once ready, it’s thoroughly rinsed and washed until the excess dye is removed. Then comes our favorite part — the reveal!
Step 5: Pack & Deliver
Once washed and dried, your one-of-a-kind piece is carefully folded and packaged for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Every order includes care instructions to help keep your colors looking vibrant.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much?
Adult tees start at $25, and kiddos’ tees start at $15. Additional colors, special designs, or custom requests may affect the final price — we’ll always confirm everything with you before we get started.
Accessories like bandanas, scrunchies, drawstring bags, tapestries, and more vary in price, so reach out for a custom quote.
Military discounts are available — just mention it when you contact us!
How Do I Pay?
Once your order details are finalized, you’ll receive a secure Square payment link.
Custom orders are started after payment is received so we can reserve the time and materials needed to create your piece.
Do You Accept Returns?
Because each piece is custom-made and one-of-a-kind, we’re unable to accept returns.
If something isn’t quite right with your order, please email us as soon as possible. We’ll always do our best to make it right.
Can You Dye Something I Already Own?
Yes! If you’re local to Fort Mohave, Bullhead City, or Laughlin, we may be able to ice-dye an item you already have. Items must be 100% cotton and clean before drop-off. Send us a message with a photo of the item first so we can make sure it’ll work for ice dye.
Where Are Your Items Made?
Every piece is hand ice-dyed outdoors in Fort Mohave, Arizona, and packaged in our pet-friendly home.
If you have allergies or sensitivities, please let us know before placing your order.
Do You Ship?
Yes! We offer local pickup and delivery in the Tri-State area, along with U.S. shipping.
Will My Piece Look Exactly Like the Example?
That’s part of the fun of ice dye — no two pieces are ever exactly alike!
Colors naturally melt, blend, and separate during the ice-dye process, so your finished piece will have its own unique pattern and personality.
